The Rookie Division program is for players ages 7 to 8 who want continue to learn the fundamentals of throwing, hitting, fielding, sportsmanship and teamwork. At this division, we switch away from the softer baseball and start using a normal baseball. This is also the first division that introduces kid pitching. Players will pitch, if ball 4 is reached, the coach will come out to pitch the remaining strikes. In Rookies, players are primarily focused on skill development. Scores will be tracked at this level of play.
